Philosophy
Materials are very important, and ours are excellent. But as anyone who’s performed under pressure can tell you, success on a high-stakes exam or standardised test depends on more than just materials. It requires test-taking skills, organisation, emotional strength, and stamina.
How we Begin
All tutoring starts with a conversation with the student’s parent or guardian. Here we get valuable feedback on the student: how do they learn best? Where have they struggled in the past, and do you know why? From this conversation and the exam, we match your child with the tutor we feel will best connect with them.
From there, our tutors meet with the student to go over the student’s study habits. We see how the student studies, how they record assignments. Are they making everything more difficult with poor study habits? While they improves a student’s study skills, they build rapport and establish trust, so a student feels comfortable admitting where they need help.
